Photography field phenomena

KAJANG: As the technology getting more advanced, people start to get entertainment more to release from a stressful day.

The most significant example we can give is people nowadays has tied to the camera with either in the mobile camera or the DSLR camera.

A research has been carried out on the perception of 60 people on the topic of photography phenomena.

It's been a usual phenomenon on our social media webpage, where we can see people sharing the photos they took as in selfie, food.

There's also a few social media webpage that has been created to allow people in sharing photos and video.

For instance, Instagram is a photo and video-sharing social networking service owned by Facebook Inc.

The app allows users to upload photos and videos to the service, which can be edited with various filters, and organized with tags and location information.

This is a most common platform for us to see a different variety of photos, videos sharing by normal people, photographer and also an enthusiast.

Based on our research on the 60 respondents, we found that female is the gender who most likely to take photos with a number of 51 respondents, 85% agreed as compared to the 9 respondents who have voted to male with a percentage of 15.

The most preferred platform to share photos is Instagram which has 68.3% of respondent voted followed by the Facebook, 15% and Flickr, 6.7%.

However, there are 6 respondents reflect that they have no preferred platform to share their photos.

In the gender of the photographer, respondents reflected that the male is the most common gender they see the most with a percentage of 76.7% as compared to the female who has only 23.3%。

Other than that, there are 46 out of 60 respondents are using phone camera as the gadget to take photos.

Surprisingly, DSLR camera has only been using by the minority of the community with an 18.3% of respondent.

However, there's 3 respondent who claims that they don't usually take photos.

Last but not least, we found that 60% of respondent voted friends as the people who normally take photos for them.

The rank followed by their family (15%), partner (13.3%), and selfie (11.7%).
